Description

Yak hair is the most common type of animal hair used for mustache, beards, goatee and other hi-ge (beards), used on samurai armor. Keeping with tradition Iron Mountain Armory only uses genuine yak hair for all of their crafting. We are happy to offer our clients the opportunity to use the same quality hair we use, for their own samurai armor repair, restoring and DIY projects. The hair is cleaned, groomed, then harvested humanly, from a local farm.

This natural yak hair averages about 10~12 or 17~20 inches in length. Of course our hair can be used for crafting projects other than samurai armor. Black, brown, white and grey are natural in color, while red is dyed. All colors may vary slightly, however we will do our best to keep colors consistent. They work great for both historical and modern projects.

Our natural yak hair is typically kept in stock however sometimes needs some time to be harvested. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for harvesting of this item.
