SALE – Goshozan Kachi Kabuto

Goshozan Kachi Kabuto are a basic helmet issued or lent to low ranking samurai.  Crafted in a Gendai hachi (bowl) style, to simulate 16 plate kabuto.  The shikore features hand cut plates, curved to form a protective guard over the back of your neck, which shifts up and down as you move and can collapse fully into themselves.

This particular Goshozan kachi kabuto does not come with a mengu (face armor) or a stand. It is a display model used for pictures and testing.  The paint has begun to bubble and could start to rust in the months or years to come.  This item is being sold as is and it a perfect kabuto for someone wanting an aged look kabuto or wanting to repair / repaint their own kabuto.
