Takeda Clan ruled from the Kai Province for 400 years (12th – 16th century), rising quickly to become one of the mightiest clans in all of Feudal Japan. Their clan motto was “Loyalty and Fraternity”, and they were known for their powerful cavalry charge. The distinctive hue of their armor earned them the nickname of “The Red Army”. They carried a Clan banner which stated “fu rin ka zan” (wind, forest, fire, mountain) which means “Swift as the Wind, Silent as the Forest, Intrusive as Fire, and Immovable as a Mountain” – strong, noble words for a strong, noble clan.

ALL I CAN SAY IS MY ARMOR IS FANTASTIC!
the armor its self is great, only issues i’ve had was one of the toggle straps busted off so had to make a small repair on one of the toggle straps for the sode, and my mempo mask doesnt have the hook thats shown in the picture that mempo masks suppose to have, other than that the armor is great, just paranoid to wear it since afraid of it getting damage
Thank you for your detailed review 🙂
As you know the kachi class suits are made with some more economical parts which as you see can sometimes need repair. Also as noted on the “Kachi Class VS Gashira Class” – Menpo section “HOOKS: Gashira Class Menpō will always come with Ori-Kugi hooks on either side. These are used to help secure the mask when the kabuto is tied in place on the head. Kachi Class Menpō are not guaranteed to come with these hooks.” This is a feature added by the apprentice armor maker if they are able to add them. Gashira, Taisho and Daimyo (respectfully) are more consistent in quality and details.
