The Eboshi Nari Bachi Kabuto were inspired by eboshi, a type of headdress commonly worn by the ruling noble class of samurai. It is said the height of the eboshi was expressing the status of the wearer, the tallest versions, “naga eboshi”, being reserved for the top ranking samurai and aristocrats. With this in mind this Taisho crafted kabuto would had belong to a mid to high ranking samurai. The traditional name for this style of kabuto is: “Hineno-Jikoro Kirituke Iyozane Eboshi Nari Bachi ”
