Eboshi Nari Bachi Kabuto was inspired by the eboshi, a type of headdress commonly worn by the ruling noble class of samurai. It was said that the height of the eboshi expressed the status of the wearer. The tallest versions, “naga eboshi”, were reserved for the top ranking samurai and aristocrats. With this in mind this Taisho quality crafted Eboshi Nari kabuto would have belonged to a mid to high ranking samurai. You can order your Eboshi Nari Bachi kabuto with your preference of mengu (facial armor), menpo (half face with nose) or hanbo (lower face). The traditional name for this style of kabuto is: “Hineno-Jikoro Kirituke Iyozane Eboshi Nari Bachi Kabuto”
