The Iro-Iro Gashira Gusoku is a “multi-colored” samurai armor set crafted by the skilled katchû-shi (Japanese armor smith) at the Iron Mountain Armory. This multicolored suit gained popularity towards the end of the Sengoku Era, when samurai were beginning to shake off more traditional paint schemes in favor of something more elaborate and unique. Crafted with a traditional “Tosei Byo-toji Yokohagi Okegawa Do” (Two Section Cuirass with Riveted Horizontal Plating joined by a Pin Hinge), this suit of samurai armor features Kiritsuke Iyozane (simulated scale) sode and kusazur.
