This style of Kegutsu (tsuranuki – yoroi boots), were popular among the high-ranking samurai class and were often worn during ceremonies. Our Kegutsu can be worn and is best suited for ceremonial and light use. They are traditionally made from brocade, cotton and horsehair, with an optional rubber sole.

Our Kegutsu are handmade by Iron Mountain Armory at the time of your order. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for crafting of this item.
Ordering Tips: Because of different foot sizes and shapes, this style of shoe can be difficult to wear. It is recommended that you order them several centimeters larger (see sizing instructions) to help ensure the best fit. We can not guarantee a perfect fit. Some modification might be needed, by the wearer.
