*Main Armor Color

Select the Color & Finish of your Do (cuirass).
Samurai Chest Do Color & Finish Option by Iron Mountain Armory

*Main Lace Color

Select the LACE (Odoshi) Color you would like for your armor. (Click through the product images to see different Lace Colors.)

*Kabuto Style

*Kabuto Crest

Select to change, customize or remove the front crest (maedate) on the helmet. You can select a standard brass mon (symbol), your own custom mon / logo or a wooden or brass design. Please reference our "Order Options Explained" page for more details and reference. Crest (Maedate) Example by Iron Mountain Armory

*Dō Mon

Select the Mon (symbol) to be painted on the front of your Dō (chest plate).(Option Not Available with Suna finish)

PLEASE NOTE: Mon might be blurry if painted over a SUNA finish.

*Add Fittings

Add Fittings to the chest only and/or to the Sode (Shoulders) and back including red ropes & tassels.

Agemaki no Kan

These help keep your sode in place.
Recommended if using armor for any combat training.

*Rivet Option

Select to have your Yoroi crafted WITH or WITHOUT Rivets. Image for reference only.

*Fabric Option

Select the Linen Material or Art. Silk Brocade used for your Armor parts.

*Leather Option

Select the synthetic leather color to be used on your HAIDATE or LIGHT SUNEATE.

Kachi Suneate Options

*Temper Armor Plates

Select to Heat Temper your steel armor plates to Add more toughness. Your armor will be heated to 700 degrees, making it more resilient and less likely to dent or break upon hard impacts. Best for Martial Arts Training, LARP & SCA Sports.

*Display Option

Select to add a yoroi bitsu (display / storage box) and portable stand to your order so you can display your samurai armor.
Yoroi Bitsu and Stand

Yoroi Bitsu Mon

Choose to add Samurai or Custom Mon (symbol) to your Yoroi Bitsu (armor box). Custom Mon's needs to be e-mailed to us in a mono-color, “Clip-Art” format.(Click through the product images to see different Standard Mon Options.)

Kabuto Options

Select these options to further customize your Kabuto (helmet).

Fukigaeshi Mon

Add a symbol (mon) to the ears (fukigaeshi) of your helmet. This can be a standard mon or custom design you can email us in "Clip-Art" format. (Click through the product images to see different Standard Mon Options.)

Horn Options

Use this option to add Dear Antlers, Water Buffalo Horns, Wooden Horns or Waki-Date (Flat Wooden Horns) to your kabuto.

Ring Option

Add RING and KNOT to the back of your kabuto.

Kasa Jirushi No Kan

Visor Option

Customize the visor of your helmet with embosed eyebrows and/or wrinkles.

Menpo Style

Select your choice of face armor available for your yoroi. Standard Menpo option will give you the mustache option, while Hoate will give you a goatee option.

Mustache Style

Add character to your armor by selecting a custom mustache option.(This option is only available with certain mask / nose styles.)

Chest Options

Select from the following options to further customize your Do (chest armor).

Dō Chest Ring

Select to add 1 or 2 Chest Rings (Saihai no kan & Tenugui no kan) to your Dō, used to display tassels or hold a saihai or gunbai. (Select option from the perspective of wearing the armor)

Please Note: Select the option as if you are wearing the armor (Left / Right) (Includes Tassels)

Dō Holding Rings

Add 1 or 2 WAIST RINGS (holding rings) to either side of your Dō (chest plate), used to hold bags, tie a weapon, Gunbai and/or your Sarashi in place. We recommend adding both if you are training in your armor. (Select option from the perspective of wearing the armor)

Kusazuri Option

This option offers to make your kuzazuri (skirt plate) detachable / interchangeable. Commonly used in the past for fast repair / replacement of the kuzazuri, or removable for fast and quiet movement of troops.

Sizing Options

The Sizing Options for your custom samurai armor set.

Chest Circumference

This option changes the girth size of your Dō (chest armor). While inhaling deeply, have an assistant wrap the tape measure under your armpits around the largest part of your chest. In the back, you want the tape measure to wrap across your shoulder blades. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.

Please Note: Sizing is for reference only and may not reflect the final product. Please read the FAQs for more details.

Please Note: It is better to select 1 size larger to accommodate under clothing.

Waist Circumference

This option is for the waist circumference of the Dō (chest armor). 5: Place a tape measure on your navel (belly button) and straight around your waist, finishing at your navel. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight. Please Note: Sizing is for REFERENCE ONLY and may not reflect the final product. Please read the FAQs for more details.

Please Note: It is better to select 1 size larger to accommodate under clothing.

Height Options

Adjust the armor to your Height. Standard sizing is 5' 8" (175 CM). Select the option closest to your actual height. If unsure, select 1 size smaller and enter your actual size in the order comments.

Please Note: It is better to select 1 size shorter for better fit.

Weight Options

Please specify YOUR WEIGHT for our armorers to better craft your armor for you.
Please select the option that is the closest to your weight, as this doesn't have to be completely accurate as this is for reference only.

Accessory Options

Select accessories to add to your custom samurai armor order.

Add Sarashi Belt

Add a long cloth belt / sash to your order, needed if you will be wearing your armor.

Bottom Hanging Plate Paint Options

Options to change the paint color for the BOTTOM HANGING plates for your custom samurai armor set.

Shikoro Bottom Plate

If you would like to change the color of the BOTTOM PLATE of your Shikoro, you may select it here. If not it will match the option your provided above.(This option should only be chosen if you would like the neck plates to be a different color than those of the main Helmet.)

Tare Bottom Plate

Select the color & finish your Tare Bottom Plate (Suso no ita) will be painted.

(This option should only be chosen if you would like the throat plates to be a different color than those of the mask.)

Sode Bottom Plate

Select the color & finish your Sode Bottom Plates (Suso no ita) will be painted. (Image for reference only. Options may differ between classes and models)

Kusazuri Bottom Plate

Select the Color & Finish your Kusazuri (Gessan) Bottom Plates.

Accent Lace Options

Change the both BOTTOM or SIDE ACCENT lace for your custom samurai armor set.

Bottom Lace Color

Select the color used for the BOTTOM HORIZONTAL LACE, on ALL Bottom Hanging Plates. (If left blank MAIN LACE COLOR will be used) (Image for reference only. Options may differ between classes and models)

Side Lace Color

Select the COLOR of the VERTICAL / SIDE LACE of your Sode.

Description

The Oda Clan Kachi Samurai Armor is crafted by our apprentice katchû-shi (Japanese armor smith) here at Iron Mountain Armory. This clan played a major part in the history of Japan during the end of the Sengoku Era (warring states period).

Your custom yoroi is crafted with a “Tosei Yokohagi Okegawa Ni-Mai Do,” or Two Section Cuirass with Horizontal Plating Joined by a Pin Hinge. This was a common armor style at the end of the Sengoku Era. The Oda Clan mon (clan crest) is painted onto the chest to show the samurai’s allegiance. The kabuto (helmet), menpo (mask) and suneate (shin) armor style, can be changed upon your request via the Extra Options menu. A display box with stand can also be ordered to proudly display your yoroi set. Custom sizing and other options are available as well.

Our skilled katchû-shi (armorers) at the Iron Mountain Armory will need at least 2 to 4 weeks, depending on options selected, and other scheduled orders, for the custom handcrafting of your yoroi.

Incredible armour, looks amazing when wearing or when displayed on the stand. When it comes to samurai armour there is no better alternative than getting it through Iron Mountain!

Beautiful Suit of armor

This is more than a suit of armor. It is a functional piece of art. It looks absolutely amazing on display in my home and I’ve had allot of fun wearing the armor in the park while photographer friends of mine took pictures. Big hit in and out of the house. Very well made and great customer service. If you have the extra cash to spend on something of value, this is something you will certainly appreciate owning!
