Description
Yokohagi Okegawa Taisho Yoroi is another historically accurate gendai samurai armor set hand crafted by the highly skilled artisan katchû-shi (Japanese armor smith) at Iron Mountain Armory. This Yokohagi Okegawa Nimai-Do yoroi is a common yoroi set, which was commonly used by mid to high ranking samurai at the end of the Sengoku, or Warring States Era and into Edo Period (Peaceful Unification). This particular samurai yoroi features a beautiful Byo-Toji (raised rivets), Tosei Do (chest armor) and Byo-Toji Hineno Zunari Bachi kabuto (helmet). It features Kiritsuke Iyozane (simulated scale), sode (shoulder guards) and kusazuri (defensive skirt plating).
Our Taisho class samurai armor smith use the most traditional crafting techniques with a minimal use of modern tools and materials. Keeping with the traditional yoroi design, we are happy to customize the style of kabuto (helmet), mask (menpo) and shins (suneate). You can also opt to change the lace or paint color and add any extra options, to make your custom yoroi.
