    A series of MON OPTIONS (crest) for your suit of armour and it's accessories.

    Add a symbol (mon) to the ears (fukigaeshi) of your helmet. This can be a standard mon or custom design you can email us in "Clip-Art" format.

    The Sizing Options for our Gashira Armors. Some options that are not standard may entail extra costs.

    This option changes the girth size of your Dō (chest armor).  While inhaling deeply, have an assistant wrap the tape measure under your armpits around the largest part of your chest.  In the back, you want the tape measure to wrap across your shoulder blades. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.

    Adjust the armor to your Height.  Standard sizing is 5' 8" (175 CM).  Select the option closest to your actual height.  If unsure, select 1 size smaller and enter your actual size in the order comments.

    Please select the option that is closest to your weight or next weight level greater, so our armorers can better fit your armor to your body size.

    The Accessory Options for our Samurai Dō's, some of which may incur additional charges. If you require further customization besides what is offered here, please contact us.

    Add a long cloth belt used to hold your dō firmly in place for a more comfortable with and to hold weapons and other accessories to your waist.

Description

Takeda ShingenTiger of Kai,” known for his great military power and victories, was the most powerful Daimyo of the Takeda clan, ruling during the end of the Sengoku era (warring states).  This Daimyo class quality reproduction of Takeda Shingen samurai armor set is hand crafted with the most monticules attention to detail and quality of materials fitting of any Daimyo. This prestigious Takeda Shingen samurai armor set features long flowing yak hair, a golden dragon maedate (crest) and fudog (lion dog) egawa (printed leather).   The front of tthe okegawa do (2 section cuirass with hinge) is smoothed and covered with matching egawa, while the back features kiritsuke iyozane (simulated wide scale plates), as well as o-sode (large shoulder guards) and gessen (hanging armored skirt).

The options are pre-set to match this impressive gusoku (matching samurai armor set) or change the options to order your own custom version of it.  The highly skilled katchû-shi  (Japanese armor smith) at the Iron Mountain Armory will be honored to craft your armor as you wish.
